Voting Information

This page has all the information you need about voting -- how to register, where to vote, who your current legislators are, etc.  Refer to the appropriate sections below.  Please note: each of these links will open in a new window and take you to another website.

How Do I Register to Vote?

We want all citizens to register to vote -- an informed and active citizenry is the hallmark of a strong nation!  The Virginia State Board of Elections has the answer to all your registration requestion: who can register; what forms need to be completed; what are the registration deadlines, etc.  Click here for more information.  You can also copy and paste the following URL into your web browser:  http://www.sbe.virginia.gov/cms/Voter_Information/Registering_to_Vote/Index.html#Registration

Remember
, to vote in a General VA State Election, you need to register at least 29 days prior to the election, so don't wait!
Where do I go to Vote?

If you're new to Virginia, just moved within Virginia, or if you just haven't voted recently, you can click here to find out where to go to cast your ballot.  (You can also paste the following URL into your web browser: http://www.voterinfo.sbe.virginia.gov/PublicSite/Public/PublicPollingPlace.aspx.)

Remember, you will need to show government-recognized identification (like a driver's license) in order to be allowed to vote.
Who are My Current Legislators?

The WFRWC encourages, and your legislators want, you to contact elected officials about ongoing issues and voice your opinion.  Elected officials are here to serve the common good, so make sure you know who's representing you and share your thoughts.  To find out who your legislators are, click here, or paste the following URL into your web browser:  http://conview.state.va.us/whosmy.nsf/main?openform.
Where are the 10th and 11th Congressional Districts?

The WFRWC represents Republican women predominantly from the 10th and 11th congressional districts.  To view a map of where these districts are located, please click the appropriate link below.
